Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a TSDF Maintenance Tech to perform repairs, maintenance and installations on facilities, treatment plants and equipment under supervision. You will inspect, diagnose and plan repairs while coordinating with contractors on on-site projects.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems, fabrication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or equivalent combination of education or experience required for maintenance practices.
• Intermediate knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
• Welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant, facilities, and equipment.
• Diagnose issues, plan repairs and execute solutions.
• Install new equipment and fixtures; fabricate metal as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors for onsite projects.
• Order, receive and stock parts and maintenance materials.
• Maintain files/logs and perform housekeeping and groundskeeping.
