Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
• Must read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Understanding of electronic and mechanical components for troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic knowledge of safe use and care of hand and power tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Mechatronics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, structures, and pipe/electrical systems in the facility.
• Report any unsafe condition immediately to supervision or EHS team member.
• Promote safety initiatives on the floor and act as a safety facilitator.
• Must be knowledgeable and capable of responding to emergency situations.
• Inspect plant equipment for proper working conditions and safe operation.
• Use CMMS to document work orders.
