Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for The Marq Highland Park Apartments in Westchase, Florida. This role is an intermediate-level position where you’ll often work independently on repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry, and participate in make-ready of vacant units.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, conduct regular property walks, document work in the PMS, and stay in contact with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is required.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly; on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Support make-ready of vacant units and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document work in the property management system and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• On-call rotation with after-hours response as required.
