Job summary

Radial is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to support our Fulfillment Center operations in Kentucky. You will perform audits, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on automated material handling components with minimal guidance.

The role requires experience with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC, and a strong background in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, with a focus on safety and quality procedures. You will help the team ensure smooth product flow and facility reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will also consider experience and/or military service.
• 3-5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation is required.
• Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination skills
• Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English
• Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary
• Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)
• Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time
• Sometimes working in extreme temperatures
• Safely utilize manual and electronic operated equipment to transport cartons or other items by means of pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying
• Strong electrical background, knowledge of low voltage controls and PLC.
• Required prior experience and/or working knowledge of Conveyor and/or sortation
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and solid electrical/controls troubleshooting
• Preventative/predictive maintenance

Responsibilities

• Assists other technicians and/or mechanics in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Performs audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components.
• Works with 3 phase systems up to 480VAC and participates in installation and maintenance.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and repairs following safety and quality procedures.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Maintains inventory of tools and supports product flow in the Fulfillment Center.
• Cleans conveyor systems and maintenance areas as needed.
• Completes work orders and documentation per procedures.

Role Summary

TheMaintenanceTech II is responsible forperforming, with minimal guidance, audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components within the Fulfillment Center.TheMaintenance Tech IIrepresentsand follows outlined company guidelines for general work practices and performs assigned dutiesin accordance withproper safe work practices.TheMaintenanceTech II takes initiative to coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the safe and satisfactory completion of all tasks.TheMaintenanceTech II willassistthe MaintenanceTech III with the product flow and operational goals to effectively support the Fulfillment Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assistsothertechnicians and/ormechanics in the repair and maintenance ofequipment,diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Responsible for performing, independently or with minimal guidance, audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components within the Fulfillment Center.
• Must have experience with 3 phase systems up to 480VAC including repair,installationand maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to safety and quality procedures.
• Provides resolutions to mechanical,technical/controlsissues.
• Troubleshoots and repairs key components for the Fulfillment Center
• Participates in cleaning the conveyor systems and maintenance area as appropriate
• Completes work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
• Working at heights of 40ft or more will berequired.
• Assistswithmaintaininginventory of company supplied tools.
• Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment.
• Performs general facility maintenance such as light bulb replacement, office furniture relocation, plumbing, electrical repairs, etc.
• Other duties as instructed by supervision/management.
