Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair conveyors, automation, and related equipment on a production floor in Katy, Texas. You will log issues in CMMS, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Tech, HVAC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment, escalate to leadership as needed, and log issues in maintenance system.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain operation logs for pumps, generators, HVAC and other systems.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist with two-person tasks as needed.
• Oversee minor projects, including space renovations and efficiency improvements.
• Certify on industrial lift equipment and oversee contractor work when required.
