Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is hiring a Maintenance Tech to support maintenance initiatives and coordinate routine and major shutdowns for lab equipment. You will write instructions, procure parts, and prioritize activities to optimize downtime in a highly automated manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3+ years in lean/automated manufacturing, reading schematics, and strong problem-solving. Strong communication and flexibility are essential, with potential overtime and on-site work in the Santa Fe

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in highly automated manufacturing/lean environments.
• Proficient with a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Independent decision-making and proactive problem solving.
• Flexible and responsive to business needs.
• Ability to work overtime and stand/walk up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Organizes work materials, writes work instructions, and optimizes maintenance labor.
• Identifies and procures parts for planned and PM work orders.
• Writes purchase requests for parts and services.
• Prioritizes maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Estimates labor requirements for planned work orders.
• Conducts weekly coordination meetings with Ops, Tech, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinates weekend/downtime activities and updates PMs in Megamation.
• Schedules contractor-led Preventative Maintenance.
• Performs additional projects as needed.
