Job summary

Luxottica is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment supporting production operations. The role includes safety compliance and hands-on repairs across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

The position requires 5+ years of related experience, an associate degree, and proficiency with diagnostic tools, PLC basics, and a CMMS. Valid driver's license is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in related field preferred.
5+ years experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as multimeters/amp meters.
Basic understanding of PLC operation.
Proficient in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Basic refrigeration knowledge.
Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance actions on facility equipment to support production needs.
Log and analyze equipment performance data; identify trends and implement preventive measures.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions; identify root causes and implement solutions.
Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors for parts and technical support.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety policies.
