Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Erie, PA seeks a Full Time Maintenance Technician to service residential and commercial properties. You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems, perform routine building upkeep, and respond to work orders.

EPA/CFC certifications preferred; 3+ years of maintenance experience; high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license. Hours M-F 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional evenings/weekends; $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum three years of progressive maintenance experience.
• CFC certification or EPA Universal Certification preferred; must be obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance equipment, and general building upkeep.
• Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
• Documents work orders and resolutions in the maintenance management system.

Job Description

• Performs general maintenance duties as it relates to troubleshooting and repair of multiple types of residential/commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance equipment and routine building upkeep and repairs.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Responsibilities also include general maintenance tasks on laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarms.
• Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
• Utilizes maintenance management system software to document data including but not limited to work order completion, issue resolutions.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full Time, 80 hours bi-weekly
• Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and being available on call for after hour emergencies
• $25.00/Hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance required.
• CFC certification or ability to obtain within initial 90-days of hire.
