Job summary

NOVO Health Services in Louisville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations on laundry and boiler room equipment in a high‑safety environment.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma or GED with 2–4 years of related experience and possess electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills. Will work in a busy laundry plant with focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent plus 2 to 4 years of related experience.
• Possess electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical, mechanical schematics, block diagrams and flow charts.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• HAZMAT and OSHA awareness and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, adjustments, overhauls, or preventive maintenance on laundry or boiler room equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems quickly and accurately.
• Dismantle defective machines and parts, replace components, and adjust feed mechanisms.
• Operate and test machinery to diagnose failures and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain logs and work orders; follow safety procedures and PPE.
