Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Louisville, KY facility. The role focuses on repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance of laundry and boiler room equipment, with strong troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.

You will perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical tasks, follow safety policies, and train a junior technician. A proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure are essential for daily plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED minimum plus 4–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Knowledge of HAZMAT and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, overhaul, and preventive maintenance on laundry/boiler equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues promptly with urgency.
• Install and repair electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and welding tasks.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technician I.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE; operate forklifts.
• Complete morning startup procedures and log work orders.
