Job summary

NOVO Health Services in Skokie, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations on laundry and boiler room equipment in a fast-paced facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, replace parts, and maintain accurate logs and work orders.

Qualified candidates have 4–6 years of related experience, strong PLC knowledge, and a hands-on approach to safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 4–6 years of related experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills.
• Must be computer literate and understand PLC principles.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, or make new parts for mechanical equipment.
• Set up and use 250 amp welder in a laundry plant environment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, repair, modify, and install machinery and electrical systems.
• Dismantle defective machines, replace parts, adjust feeds.
• Operate equipment to diagnose failures by testing and inspection.
• Maintain logs and work orders.
