Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills preferred.
• Ability to solve basic mechanical or electrical problems; understand basic engineering formulas.
• Ability to diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues visually or audibly at the component level.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems; develop basic skills in electrical and PLC/controls and welding/fabrication.
• Diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues on single components.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety trainings and meetings.
• Assist/supervise in preventative/corrective maintenance tasks.
• Participate in smaller scope projects as needed.
• May work a flexible schedule including all days and shifts as required.
