Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. Maintenance Tech I (B Shift) keeps our Arkansas facility running. You perform repairs, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics is preferred. Poultry or food processing industry experience helps. You should be comfortable in a team environment and adhere to LEAN and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in poultry or food processing.
• Strong communication and good decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, or adjust equipment to ensure proper operation per production requirements.
• Consult with engineers and vendors; perform layout work for projects and troubleshoot equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and government regulations; maintain LEAN and company operating systems.
• Support team initiatives; attend meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed to meet business objectives.
