Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an Maintenance Tech I at our Southaven, MS site. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and performing preventive maintenance on conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment to support production and quality.

You will log issues in maintenance records and CMMS, troubleshoot outages, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime. The position requires a high school diploma, 3 years of repair/maintenance experience with conveyer or robotics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years' experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
• Basic skills in Excel and CMMS software.
• Experience with inputs/outputs and PLC logic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; escalate to leadership/senior tech as needed; log issues in maintenance log.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC and other systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist maintenance mechanics and perform occasional facility/building project work.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify operation; analyze production delays and initiate corrective actions.
• Examine defects and analyze spoilage causes; verify corrective actions.
