Job summary

Helen of Troy is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the Arlington, TN facility. This 2nd shift role focuses on safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment to maximize productivity while adhering to safety regulations.

Onsite, with overtime as needed, you will troubleshoot machinery, coordinate priority repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience or technical training, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are

• Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.

• Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.
• Performs additional job-related responsibilities to support departmental objectives.

Position: Maintenance Technician I(2nd Shift)

Department: Facilities

Work Location: Arlington, TN. 100% Onsite

Hours: Monday - Friday, 03:00 PM to 11:30PM (ability to work overtime as needed)

What you will be doing:

You will ensure safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems. You willbe responsible formaximum productivity and qualityin accordance withsafety, health, and fire regulations.

• Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.
• Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems.
• Uses Pick2Light systems, which analyzes computer system errors enabling maintenance to make repairs, reset faults, etc., as needed.
• Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.
• Performsadditionaljob-related responsibilities as assigned to support departmentalobjectivesand organizational success.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

• Collaborates effectively across teams while adhering to organizational values.
• Maintains organized work processes and effectively manages competingpriorities.
• Effectively communicates ideas, information, and recommendations through presentations.
• Demonstratesproficiencyin Microsoft Officeapplications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyorPM,and MHE Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+years related experienceortechnical training.
• Stocks andorganizesproducts, including fragile items, safely and accurately.
• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like walking, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to review and process shipping documents.
• Supportsprocess andlogisticsimprovement initiatives.
• Follows established safety guidelines and OSHA regulations tomaintaina safe work environment.
• Ability towork in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-timebasis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) systems.
