Job summary

Landry's, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently.

Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals and general and preventive maintenance a plus. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing the facility, plumbing repairs (toilets, drains, leaks), assisting painters, engineers, electricians, welders and carpenters, cleaning work areas, and delivering quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing.
• Experience with hazardous chemicals and general maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience in facilities maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the facility and building systems.
• Repair plumbing and related fixtures (toilets, drains, leaks).
• Assist other trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, carpenters.
• Clean shops and work areas; manage materials and waste.
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality results.

Job description

Overview

Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals and general and preventive maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.

• Repair of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains.

• Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and carpenters.

• Cleaning of shops, trash, sweeping, picking materials up from job sites, etc.

• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Related degree preferred or accredited certifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience

• Effective communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor
