Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and reliability of our DC conveyance and facility systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics while documenting work and following PM standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of maintenance experience; a technical certificate or associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience in industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance equipment; follow PM standards and document work.
• Assist in reporting spare parts usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and on time.
• Take on additional tasks to support operational needs.

Pay Rate: $25.60/hr

Shifts Available: 2nd: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am (additional $1.00/hr)

Role Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Base knowledge should include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Assist in the reporting of spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other responsibilities and tasks as need to support our operational needs.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Preferred: vocational/technical certificate or Associate Degree in Mechanical o Electrical field.
• 3-5 years experience
