Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure uninterrupted operations in our Distribution Center on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00pm-2:30am). You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, and related systems, and support PM programs to keep equipment in top condition.

Associate's degree or equivalent technical certificate with 3–5 years of maintenance experience required; strong safety knowledge and ability to work with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2-year technical certificate in mechanical/electrical applications.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Safety-focused with OSHA guidelines knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements including LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems.
• Follow PM standards and document work in the asset management system.
• Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and related equipment.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership to maintain stock.
• Assist vendors to complete DC projects safely and on time.
• Take on other responsibilities to support operations.

OVERVIEW:

2nd shift- Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am Pay rate- 25.60/hr plus $1.00 shift differential

Role Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility.
• Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system.
• Base knowledge should include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Assist in the reporting of spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other responsibilities and tasks as need to support our operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application 3-5 years experience
