Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support installation, qualification, and service of manufacturing equipment on the production line. You will troubleshoot day-to-day issues, perform timely maintenance, and contribute to throughput and yield improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred candidates holding an associate's degree or two years of machine experience; First Solar EMT experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two+ years machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function or First Solar EMT experience.
• Six months EMT experience at First Solar with rating of 5+ in EMT proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Perform on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Train production associates and technicians.
