Job summary

gpac seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment at the Jackson, MS manufacturing site. The role supports both mechanical and electrical systems and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining machines, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and interpreting manuals and work orders. OT may be required; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs is preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work overtime Monday through Friday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Perform unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
