Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a maintenance technician to operate and maintain facility equipment, complete preventive maintenance requests, and coordinate with OEMs on lasers, plasma, brakes, CNC mill, and material handling gear to minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and transmissions, lift heavy components, work outdoors in all weather, and document work orders while upholding safety standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mechanical experience required; agricultural/automotive a plus
• Strong background in electrical systems (including wiring schematics), hydraulics, air brakes and diesel engines
• Ability to lift heavy mechanical components and work outside in all types of weather

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains facility equipment; completes preventive maintenance requests
• Troubleshoots problems by observing equipment and coordinating with OEM manufacturers
• Documents work orders and maintains maintenance software records
• Maintains spare parts inventory and supports downtime reduction
• Works with OEMs to troubleshoot breakdowns and address urgent repairs
• Maintains safe and clean working environment per procedures and regulations
