Job summary

Cirtec Medical is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining, modifying, and repairing vital equipment. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and troubleshoot a range of mechanical and electrical devices on a daily basis.

The role requires hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and the ability to interpret technical drawings while working independently to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently that support the productions environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, verbal, and written instructions as necessary to complete an assigned task.
• Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, maintenance shop equipment.
• Capable of performing a variety of tasks from simple to complex troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electrical devices.
• Use standard measurement tools such as dial indicators, multimeters, bore gauges, thread gauges, torque wrench and others.
• Install electrical conduits, airlines, water lines; scope the job and complete it professionally and timely.
• Maintain plant mechanical equipment and systems to ensure reliability and minimal downtime.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding presses and associated equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution systems and devices (240V and 480V).
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Be able to perform HVAC troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.
• This is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.

Position Summary:

Provide support to the production process specifically in the maintenance, modification and repair vital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, verbal, and written instructions as necessary to complete an assigned task.
• Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, maintenance shop equipment. Examples of typical equipment would be a multimeter, cordless hand tools, grinder, drill press, pipe threader, saws, etc.
• Capable of performing a variety of tasks from the simple such as toilet unplugging to the complex troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electrical devices.
• Be able to use standard measurement tools such as dial indicators, multimeters, bore gauges, thread gauges, torque wrench and other tools.
• Be able to install electrical conduits, airlines, water lines. This would include scoping the job, determining proper equipment and material and completing the job in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain plant mechanical equipment and systems to ensure reliability efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding presses and associated equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution systems and devices (includes motors, lighting systems, plant electrical - 240V and 480V systems).
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• This is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.
• Be able to perform minor HVAC troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percentage and to interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently that support the productions environment.

Good to Have:

• Two-year technical/trade school or specialize in technical skills (i.e. HVAC, Electrical, etc.)
• Plus is a journeyman card for electrical, machine repair or millwright.

Pay range: $22.70 - $34.04 hourly, plus $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Training schedule: 11:00am-7:00pm Monday -Friday for approximately 2 months.
