Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot, support and repair production equipment, and to install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and related systems across all departments.

The successful candidate will participate in scheduled maintenance, inspect and operate plant utility systems, complete required documentation, and design installation of new equipment in compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
• Ability to install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment; determine materials, parts, and equipment for repair, installation and stock
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools; must comply with all company safety rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned
