Job summary

Valence in Lynwood, CA is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment and systems. The role involves selecting materials, installing and inspecting hardware, and coordinating preventive maintenance across departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
• Determine materials, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and related systems in all production and supporting departments.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in the plant.
• Complete all necessary documentation per company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
• Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 5 plus years of experience in facility maintenance

• Compensation Range $18.50 - $21.00 (DOE) Compensation may vary base on experience
