Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment across the plant. The role involves preventive maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety rules while coordinating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma and prior facility maintenance experience. Candidates will document procedures and work with standard tools and mechanical/electrical systems as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
• Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: Experience in facility maintenance preferred
