Job summary

Fisher Barton in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 for 1st shift. You will maintain and repair electrical, PLCs, hydraulics and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot facility systems.

Level 1-3 responsibilities cover procedural adherence, diagnostics, and training, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork in a 1st shift, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; basic math and reading skills.
• Experience in maintenance or repair of electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, interpret instructions, and follow PM procedures.
• Demonstrates problem-solving, teamwork, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, PLC, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Log maintenance tasks, time, and PM results using a computer.
• Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to improve safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; install and test new machinery.
