Job summary

Kreider Farms in Lancaster County, PA, is expanding its maintenance team to support its dairy and egg production operations. We operate Egg Processing/Packaging plants with automated systems in Lebanon (Mt. Pleasant), Mt.

Joy, and Middletown. The schedule is 40+ hours per week, four 10-hour days, with a rotating weekend rotation. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems.
• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience including mechanical/electrical, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Relevant certifications (Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
• Maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement
• Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.

To support our growth we are looking to add Maintenance Technicians to the teams in Lebanon (Mt. Pleasant), Mt. Joy and Middletown. We have a variety of automation, conveyor systems, and state-of-art robotic packaging and palletizing equipment in our Egg Processing/Packaging plants. The schedule would be 40+ hours per week, 4 (10 hour) days per week, and rotating every 3rd weekend.
