Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech to safely install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment across multiple trades including carpentry, paint, electrical, HVAC, and janitorial equipment.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. The role requires hands-on skills with hand and power tools, the ability to read maintenance logs, and effective communication with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and/or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction.
• Two years electrical experience minimum.
• Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical and mechanical issues and repair.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
• Respond promptly to requests and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

Title:

Maintenance Tech

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules

Qualification

• Education and/ or Experience: Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction. Two years Electrical Experience minimum. High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May required to have a valid driver's license. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
