Job summary

Westerman, Inc., an employee owned company and multi-site manufacturer, seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot advanced mechanical problems and perform preventive maintenance across the facility. Responsibilities include completing mechanical repairs, welding tasks, data entry into the maintenance system, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, good communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARYWesterman, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a proven ability to troubleshoot advanced mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess advanced knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.RESPONSIBILITIES Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group. Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees.Complete mechanical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Perform advanced electricity in order to work in maintenance field safely.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty or responsibility satisfactorily.
