Job summary

Westerman, Inc. in Hebron, Ohio, is seeking a full-time HR Representative to support our new Licking County facility. You will partner with the HR Manager to recruit hourly production staff, administer benefits, payroll, and HR policies while ensuring compliance and excellent service.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work with manufacturing teams and external staffing partners. Travel and driving are required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in HR or Business.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR work experience; onboarding experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines independently and work in a team.
  • Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and staffing: posts requisitions, sources, screens, and interviews candidates for hourly production positions.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes and onboarding; facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Benefits administration: explains and answers employee questions regarding plans, EAP and FMLA/disability processes.
  • Guides employees through Open Enrollment period.
  • Analyze HR processes and compile data/reports for HR projects.
  • Payroll: reviews timecards for accuracy and processes payroll; manages referral and sign-on bonus programs.
  • Miscellaneous program coordination: wellness programs, company events, Leadership Training Program, awards, invoices, uniform and boot voucher programs.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARYWesterman is looking for a full-time HR Representative that will work closely with the HR Manager in support of its new Licking County facility. This role is responsible for start up and staffing of the new facility in addition to full life cycle recruiting, benefit administration, payroll, staffing, data entry, and general administration of human resources policies and practices.The successful candidate is a process-oriented individual with a drive for providing excellent service. To be effective in this role, you must have strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, strict attention to deadlines, and the ability to operate and interact effectively with internal and external business partners.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRegular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group. Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees.Recruiting and staffing: Posts requisitions, sources, screens, and interviews candidates for hourly production positions, recommends candidates for hire. Is responsible for pre-employment coordination and onboarding process, facilitates new hire orientation, partners with staffing agencies for temporary workers.Benefits administration: Communicates, explains and answers employee questions regarding benefit plans, employee assistance program services, FMLA and disability processes among others.
