Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a maintenance engineer in the United States to develop and implement procedures and ensure all equipment and facilities stay in optimal condition. You may work in offices, on the shop floor, or on site, applying hands-on skills and coordinating with teams.

You will read technical manuals, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and repair plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Intermediate mathematics.
• Must work well independently with little direction.
• Quick thinker and strategic planner with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment and building as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.
• Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building).
