Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in the United States is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to support our fabrication facilities and mills. You will develop and implement maintenance procedures, ensure all equipment runs reliably, and help keep our plants operating safely and efficiently.

The role requires reading technical manuals, working independently, and using welding, cutting, and diagnostic tools. Bilingual English and Spanish applicants are encouraged to apply; a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; tech certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Identify / troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment and building as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.
• Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building).
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic, testing, welding, and hand tools.
• Strategic planner who can prioritize maintenance activities effectively.
