Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Maintenance Team Manager / Supervisor to lead our Painesville, Ohio Films Facility. You will plan and direct the maintenance team, focusing on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement to resolve production issues.

The role is on-site in Painesville, OH, with hours roughly 8am–5pm and oversight of three shifts. You will champion TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or applicable field.
• 6+ years operational experience in plant maintenance or engineering leadership.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Lean principles (ELS), OSHA PSM, ISO 9000; CMMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and direct activities to resolve safety, quality, and production issues.
• Oversee three shifts and manage schedules and downtime.
• Implement TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance; manage CMMS and spares.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Avery Dennison network; optimize service contracts.
