Job summary

PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking a Technical Development Lead to elevate the technical capability and performance of the maintenance team at the Somerset, New Jersey site.

This role focuses on coaching, training, and hands-on technical support while providing limited shift-based supervision to ensure production readiness and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong supervisory experience, manufacturing equipment knowledge, and proficiency with maintenance software.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience working with manufacturing equipment.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Confined Space/Lock-Out Tag-Out.
• Must be computer literate with office and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Assess current skill levels of mechanics and identify gaps for improvement.
• Deliver structured training modules (technical, safety, troubleshooting).
• Maintain skills matrices and track progress.
• Provide on-shift technical leadership and guidance.
• Support troubleshooting and development of guides and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency and high-priority work with safety in mind.
• Assist maintenance scheduling and handoffs.
