Job summary

PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Performance Engineer at the Somerset, New Jersey site. The role drives Lean/TPM continuous improvement using PDCA methods, partnering with all pillars to eliminate losses and achieve annual objectives.

Key duties include training in Lean tools, leading improvements, developing standards, and supporting food safety and quality with GMP compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Engineering/Manufacturing disciplines.
• Extensive TPM, Lean Manufacturing and/or integrated performance improvement experience.
• Good working knowledge of the supply chain and plant organization.
• Strong Focused Improvement/RCA and analytical skills.
• Excellent planning, organization and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in Lean tools and coach teams through continuous improvement.
• Identify process improvement opportunities with departmental leads and drive improvements.
• Create new standards and control plans; train and qualify staff on new processes.
• Support food safety and quality initiatives; monitor GMP adherence.
• Benchmark externally to deploy best practices with internal partners.
• Lead and participate in daily/weekly performance meetings and huddles.
• Drive Win the Day and other daily management system activities across the site.
• Train others in program management and root-cause problem solving.
