Avery Dennison is seeking a Maintenance Team Manager / Supervisor to lead our Painesville, Ohio Films Facility. You will plan and direct the maintenance team, resolving safety, quality, and production issues with a focus on safety, reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

The role is on-site in Painesville, OH, with primary hours 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, overseeing all three shifts. You will collaborate across teams and manage TPM initiatives and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (e.g., Engineering).
• 6+ years of operational experience required, with 3–5 years of demonstrated success in a plant maintenance or engineering leadership role.
• Deep technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and automation.
• Proven leadership competencies to Display Agility, Champion Collaboration, and Deliver Results, with demonstrated skill in resolving conflicts.
• Familiarity with Lean principles (ELS), OSHA PSM, ISO 9000 procedures, and strong computer proficiency in MS Office, Google Platform, and CMMS (such as Agility or MP2).

Responsabilités

• Promote safety as the primary value by leading monthly safety meetings, daily huddles, and ensuring the Mechanical Integrity Program complies with OSHA PSM guidelines.
• Build and develop a high-performing, diverse team with coaching, training, and regular feedback through the Global Performance Management System while managing work schedules and driving accountability for results.
• Lead TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance schedules to lessen downtime, while managing the CMMS work order system and spare parts inventory to minimize operating costs.
• Forge strategic relationships with maintenance peers across the Avery Dennison network and partner with outside suppliers to optimize service contracts and equipment longevity.
• Assist with capital projects, facility modifications, and provide technical guidance for process stability, capacity utilization, and waste reduction.
