Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director for our Austin-area communities. This role blends hands-on maintenance with leadership, overseeing day-to-day repairs, make-readies, and safety practices to keep residents satisfied.

• Requires hands-on maintenance experience and strong leadership skills.
• Must read service requests and schedules and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Proven ability to supervise a maintenance team and coordinate work orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team and daily operations.
• Prepare make-ready apartments for new residents.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform routine maintenance in common areas.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Engage with residents to ensure satisfaction.
