Job summary

Cardinal Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to protect, maintain and enhance the value of the community while ensuring residents receive outstanding service.

The role requires 3–5 years in property maintenance, strong customer service, ability to lift 75 lbs, and weekend/on-call availability. You will supervise maintenance tasks, support turnovers, and participate in Cardinal U training to boost curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience; property management experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail; basic maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of pool service/maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs and stand 8–12 hours.
• Weekend work and on-call emergencies required.
• Must embody Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional curb appeal; keep grounds and buildings clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties.
• Provide exemplary customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe clubhouse, office, model, hallways and all common areas.
• Ensure property is free of trash and debris; maintain landscaping and flower watering.
• Ensure appearance of apartments prior to move-in; advise supervisor on items needing attention.
• Assist with apartment turnovers as directed.
• Communicate with Community Manager on maintenance or curb appeal issues.
• Respond to emergencies per policies; attend training and adhere to procedures.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations.
