Job summary

Cardinal Group seeks a Maintenance Team Leader to protect and enhance community value while elevating the living experience for residents. You will address maintenance issues quickly, ensure curb appeal, and support apartment turnovers with a team-oriented approach.

The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong customer service, and basic maintenance skills. Weekend work and on-call availability are common, with an emphasis on safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, property management experience is a plus.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and basic maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of pool service/maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.
• Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, tidy clubhouse, office, model, hallways and all other common areas.
• Ensure the property is free of trash, debris and animal waste.
• Maintain lawn and landscaping, including watering flowers.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and advise on repairs needed.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and assist with turnovers as directed.
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Participate in training and comply with all policies and procedures.
