Job summary

El Car Wash is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead a team of skilled technicians and own major projects across multiple sites. This hands-on leadership role builds training frameworks that raise maintenance standards organization-wide while ensuring uptime is never an afterthought.

You’ll drive preventive maintenance programs, oversee budgets, coordinate vendors, and mentor technicians to deliver high-quality execution on time.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience with advanced electrical and MCC expertise.
2+ years in a leadership role leading technicians.
Experience managing large-scale projects (rebrands, acquisitions, or new builds).
Strong project management: budgets, vendors, and timelines.
Experience delivering preventive maintenance training for site-level managers.
Familiarity with safety compliance (OSHA) and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop your team - coach, mentor, and grow a team of Maintenance Technicians.
Own major projects - lead maintenance for rebrands, acquisitions, and new builds across sites; manage budgets and vendors.
Build preventive maintenance training content for managers on duty.
Troubleshoot and repair advanced electrical, MCC, HVAC, plumbing, and multi-system tech.
Maintain vendor relationships and oversee project budgets to ensure safety and compliance.
Travel 10–20% across regions to support sites and teams.
Connect work outcomes to customer uptime and service delivery.
