Job summary

El Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep sites running at peak performance. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document all work thoroughly.

You’ll also train site staff and assist with new site launches to ensure smooth operation. Based in Florida with on‑site responsibilities, this role requires hands‑on skills, safety focus, and willingness to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems hands‑on.
• Proactive mindset—prevents outages and prioritizes maintenance.
• Strong documentation habits—update logs and close work orders accurately.
• Comfort using hand and power tools safely.
• Reliable for on‑call and after‑hours emergencies.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Experience with 3‑phase motors, PLCs or VFDs is a plus.
• CMMS background is a plus.
• Ability to weld, fabricate or dismantle equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the operation running by performing mechanical and electrical repairs and replacing defective parts.
• Execute preventive maintenance proactively to prevent outages.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with a systematic approach.
• Document work orders, update CMMS logs, and red‑line drawings.
• Train site staff on operation, preventive maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Support site launches and new equipment installations for smooth start‑up.
• Be available for after‑hours emergencies and on‑call needs.
