Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC seeks a Maintenance Mechanic Team Leader in Mundelein, IL to lead daily maintenance activities and guide a small team. You will troubleshoot and repair a range of production machinery, perform PMs, and coordinate with supervisors and engineers to drive uptime.

The role requires multi-skill trades experience, familiarity with PLCs and process control, and a strong safety record. Weekend and holiday coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of maintenance techniques, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and crew, prioritize work orders, coordinate maintenance tasks with Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
• Develop training programs for the maintenance team with engineers and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machinery, equipment, pumps, piping and controls.
• Inspect and document work orders, perform PMs, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
