Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Mundelein, IL to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and plant systems. You will support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and upgrades, using multi-craft skills to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation knowledge, plus the ability to read schematics and operate safely under GMP guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Familiarity with ISO calibration requirements.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and plant systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections for safe, reliable operation.
• Respond to emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, fabricate, and relocate machinery and facility systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Operate shop equipment and use hand, power, and diagnostic tools safely.
• Document work, requisition materials, and maintain maintenance records.
• Follow environmental, safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements.
