Job summary

Amcor Mundelein is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Team Leader to oversee shifts on the Mundelein maintenance team. The role troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production machinery and related systems to sustain optimal operation and plant productivity.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, developing training, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing work experience and/or 1 year as Maintenance Technician II, with experience in PLCs, drives, process control and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shifts and prioritize work orders for the team.
• Maintenance point of contact for Production Supervisors and Engineering team.
• Develop training program for maintenance team with Engineer and Maintenance Manager.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and environmental guidelines.
