Job description

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and electronic plant/equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Supports, implements, and maintains food safety and quality practices as required through SQF.
• Completes job duties supporting plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years vocational training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, electronics, and programmable computers.
• Minimum 5 years experience in plant and production equipment maintenance including mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair.
• Knowledge of production machinery operation and maintenance; licenses such as boilers, electrical, and refrigeration are preferred.

Work Schedule

• 5:30 PM - 5:50 AM
• 2-2-3 schedule with built-in overtime and every other weekend off

Location

Asheboro, NC plant with modern cereal production technology, located near the Atlantic Ocean and Blue Ridge Mountains.

Additional Benefits

• Pay range $35.00-$42.95/hour, night shift differential $1/hour
