Altria Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for our Richmond, VA Manufacturing Center. You will lead teams to translate strategies into actionable maintenance plans, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate maintenance activities across shifts.

The role emphasizes supervision of maintenance teams, coaching, and collaborative problem solving in a manufacturing setting. The salary range reflects experience and qualifications, with rich benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or four-year apprenticeship with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Alternatively, 5 years of manufacturing or leadership experience in lieu of education.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Quality Systems / Lean principles in manufacturing.
• Ability to coach and lead employees in a team-based environment.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Open to working 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Responsabilités

• Manage resources and staffing levels within the unit to meet production, compliance, team and project objectives or goals.
• Determine and provide for team and individual development based on the needs of the business; develop problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Seek mentoring opportunities with teams and individuals for performance improvement, administering rewards and consequences when appropriate.
• Develop and monitor actionable measures with your team to link business unit performance to factory objectives.
• Coordinate troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and planned maintenance activities with team members and support resources to meet schedules and ensure effective execution of work processes.
• Develop and share meaningful information to support problem solving and process improvement efforts.
