Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of our Lawrence community. The role focuses on resolving resident maintenance issues promptly, ensuring curb appeal, and supporting apartment turnovers.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of industry experience, strong customer service, and basic maintenance skills. Flexibility for weekends and on-call emergencies is required. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience; property management experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Basic maintenance skills and ability to perform general repairs.
• Working knowledge of pool service/maintenance.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and work 8–12 hour standing shifts.
• Ability to work weekends and be on call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional curb appeal by keeping grounds and buildings clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and teamwork.
• Keep clubhouse, office, model units, hallways and common areas clean and safe.
• Monitor landscaping and ensure proper watering and upkeep.
• Oversee apartment turnovers and coordinate with supervisor as needed.
• Report issues with maintenance or curb appeal to the Community Manager.
