Job summary

Framebridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead in San Marcos, TX to oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of our facilities. The role requires electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics know‑how, plus preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

The incumbent will manage inventories, coordinate with contractors, and maintain maintenance logs using CMMS and Excel. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this lead position.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, ability to be proactive.
• Experience in executing maintenance operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively across other sites and departments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
• Perform all repair and installation activities.
• Adhere to developed maintenance procedures and ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Monitor equipment inventory and alert the Maintenance Manager as necessary.
• Work with contractors and service providers to support facility needs.
• Manage workload and perform all tasks in a timely manner.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Utilize CMMS, Excel, and other relevant programs effectively.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems independently.
• Triage work orders appropriately to prioritize urgent needs.
• Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the broader maintenance team.
• Foster a safe and healthy work environment, compliant with standards and legal regulations.
