Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead 1 in Schaumburg, IL to oversee equipment performance and assist mechanics in optimizing production.

Shifts: 2nd and 3rd available. The role requires 3 years of related experience, strong knowledge of electrical/electronics, PLCs, and frequency drives, plus the ability to read safety manuals in English. Nestlé offers a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) match and healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and trade school in electrical/electronics preferred.
• Three years of related experience in electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining and plumbing.
• Familiarity with frequency drives and PLCs; English reading/writing required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities of Maintenance employees.
• Assist in training Maintenance staff on equipment and CMM systems.
• Ensure completion of assigned Work Orders and timely maintenance calls.
• Perform repairs/adjustments and operate equipment as needed.
