Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a First Line Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Team in Deer Park, TX. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure safe, reliable operations, and drive performance in alignment with site directives.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, maintaining HSE standards, and collaborating with engineering to implement improvements. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in instrumentation and/or electrical maintenance within the petrochemical industry.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate others with leadership and teamwork.
• Willing to work 12-hour, 7-day rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Must adhere to environmental, health, safety, security and quality policies.
• Willing and able to work outdoors year-round in varied weather conditions.
• Must have strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily maintenance activities to support safe, reliable operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site procedures.
• Monitor performance indicators, troubleshoot mechanical and process issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Oversee budgeting and cost control for maintenance activities.
